Teen Mom Season 4 Episode 8

"The Next Step"

Catelynn:

Tyler gets a call from April who informs him that she was hanging out with Butch (which shouldn't have been happening since there is a no contact order) and they ended up getting into a fight that led to him being arrested and thrown back in prison. April is pretty bruised up from the fight. Tyler tells Cate what happened so she goes over to her mom's house to check on her.
April explains the crazy fight that they had the night before and shows her the holes in the wall and how Butch choked her with a towel. She then gets emotional telling Catelynn how sorry she is for everything she has done in the past, especially when Catelynn placed Carly for adoption. Turns out April was only following Butches lead in being angry about the adoption. She says that she is sorry she ever chose a man over Catelynn. Then she has an equally emotional conversation with Tyler about his dad and how he chose drugs over his loved ones. 

Amber:

Gary is still great at pushing Amber's buttons and saying all the wrong things. Amber wanted to come by for a minute and see her before bed but was shot down. Gary almost seemed intoxicated while talking to her, his behavior was just odd. He wouldn't even agree to let Amber see Leah the next day.  When he finally does agree, he is rude on the phone with Amber's cousin Krystal so Amber looses her temper and calls him a name of course. Gary and Amber fight again on the phone right before he drops Leah off with her. 

There is one good part of this episode, Leah and Krystal take their kids to the playground and seem to have a really good time. 

Farrah:

This episode kicks off with Farrah taking Sophia to ride a pony which is super cute and fun. She decides that she should introduce Sophia to Daniel her new boyfriend. First though she has her first day of school! This episode shows a little bit of the terrible twos while Sophia is extra crazy and toddler-ish in this episode. She takes Sophia out to dinner with Daniel and they have a good time. Daniel seems nice and genuine and even skypes Farrah's mom with her.

Maci:

Maci's landlord sold the house she has been renting so now its time to find a new place to live. They talk about buying a home instead of renting. They look for houses and Maci talks about buying a house with Kyle and how she isn't ready to marry him or have kids with him yet. Of course her mother says its a great idea so they are going to go for it. They keep saying that they aren't going to break up but they actually do break up not long after buying this new house. They find a house that they like that has a huge back yard. It's $79,000 and just needs some TLC and seems perfect for them. So they sign the papers. 

Maci and Kyle back together for good?

Maci & Kyle Together Again

Kyle and Maci playfully told their twitter followers that they were together again. Kyle asked Maci via tweet if she would be his "gf." These two have pretty obviously been on and off for the past several months. I guess they have worked things out though since they are making it more public that they are an item. 

Loads of fans have been dying to see the couple back together. So its about time they let them know what is going on. It's been pretty obvious though, with the flirting and the photos etc. Also the fact that Maci always said she wouldn't have him in and out of Bentley's life, so the fact that they have little family days together speaks volumes to me. 

Hopefully it works out for them. I normally don't have faith in relationships that are on and off but who knows, they might just work out. :)

Happy Anniversary Catelynn & Tyler!

Today Catelynn and Tyler celebrate their 8th year as a couple! The two have been together since the 7th Grade when they met in their music class. Tyler says that he loved her from the moment he saw her and Catelynn said the reason she fell in love with him is because he could always make her laugh. 

8 years later the two are happily engaged, own their own home, are in college and working on their careers. They have an amazing life together and been through so much. They truly are an inspirational couple. By placing Carly for adoption a little more then 3 years ago the couple were able to completely turn their lives around, and give their daughter the kind of life she deserves at the same time. 

Congratulations you two!

Kate Gosselin Cries While Watching 'Jon and Kate Plus 8'

The world was introduced to Kate Gosselin when she became pregnant with sextuplets. TLC decided to do an entire series around Kate, Jon, and her brood of eight kids and while fans thoroughly enjoyed watching the kids grow up on their television screens, people didn't care for Kate all that much. The show was eventually cancelled, but Kate and her kids spent Sunday night reminiscing about old times.

Kate tweeted, "We are watching the St Jude's episode... I am crying... Happy and sad tears.. Old episodes of Jon&Kate+8 warms our hearts..."

The tweet seemed innocent enough, right? Not everyone gets handed a reality show and it makes sense that Kate and her kids would want to relive that.

However, Kate followed up the seemingly innocent tweet with, "Wow. We all agreed: we miss our show&the adventures and huge opportunities to help and entertain :)others! Why am I watching and crying??!:)"

THAT sounds like the Kate Gosselin that fans are accustomed to. Rather than keeping it simple and reminiscing on good times, she is focusing on the opportunities (i.e. perks) that the show gave her. Who wouldn't miss paid vacations, free merchandise (something she still gets), and getting paid to be on camera?

It is no secret that Kate has been hinting that she would love to be back on television and, seriously, who can blame her?! Absolutely no one would want to go back to a regular 9-5 after having so much handed to them and, even though people get tired of her reminders of how she misses the show, other people given that chance would certainly feel the same way.

Chelsea was recently happily moved on from Adam and started seeing a handsome guy named Aaron. She tweeted a photo of the two in a lip lock. 

Unfortunately now she has changed her tune tweeting:  "I literally think I'm incapable of having feelings for anyone." 

Adam was reportedly jealous of Chelsea's new relationship and I hope recent events don't discourage her from dating someone new. I think we all would hate to see Chelsea fall back on Adam. The right person is out there Chelsea! Don't give up!

Reality Show Doing Final Casting for Mothers & Daughters That Are Both Pregnant

Here's your chance to be on the TV!

With three hits under its belt that focus on teen parenthood (Teen Mom, Teen Mom 2and 16 & Pregnant) and one on the way (Teen Mom 3), MTV has pretty much dominated when it comes to airing shows dealing with pregnant teens. Fans of these shows know how much drama one pregnant girl can cause…but imagine if you amped the drama up even more by adding another pregnancy to the mix—the girl’s mother!

Casting producers for a new reality docu-series called Pregnant Mothers, Pregnant Daughters are hoping to find their own niche in the maternity television market. The new show will follow mothers and daughters who end up getting pregnant at the same time, said Adam Drucker, the head of casting and talent for the company behind the show.

“We’re really interested in exploring the mother-daughter relationships and how the pregnancies affect them,” he said. “That’s really the core of our show.”

Like its MTV cohorts, ‘Pregnant Mothers, Pregnant Daughters’ will not only document the pregnancy and delivery, but also what happens afterwards in the lives of its stars.

“We’ll follow their journey through the births and beyond,” said Drucker. “For the series,  we’re casting only a few mothers and daughters and will follow their journeys throughout the season, in every episode. So, in a sense, the whole series will be a follow up [to what happens after the babies are born.]”

Casting directors have been scouting the country looking for girls (and their moms) who fit the bill and are interested on being on a reality show. If this sounds like you and your mother (or daughter), you better hurry and contact them, as the show is currently in its final week of casting.

“I think the universality of pregnancy and the uniqueness of this situation will make it appeal to a diverse audience,” he said. “In particular, we hope it’s a show teenage girls and young adults will watch with their moms.”

The show, which will feature hour-long episodes, is slated to air this fall or early next year.

Casting directors for the show are still searching for a few more preggo moms and daughters, so if this fits the description of someone you know, Drucker encourages you to contact the show’s casting department! (If you get picked, maybe The Ashley will be writing about you someday!)

Drucker said the best way to get in touch with the show’s casting agents is to send an email tomothersanddaughtersexpecting@gmail.com, describing what’s been happening in your
lives since you’ve both become pregnant and why you should be a part of this docu-series. You also need to include your phone number, email, address and the city and state where you live. (Here’s the show’s Facebook page if you want to keep track of the show’s progress.)

“We’ve got a terrific team of dedicated, caring casting producers who’ve been looking in every state in the nation,” said Drucker. “We’re so excited to hear your stories and document your journeys!”

I don’t know about you, but The Ashley is totally watching this show when it airs! This is right up her alley!

It's been at least 73 days since Kim Kardashian and her similarly publicity-loving beau Kanye West have officially stepped out hand-in-hand in NYC, one more day than the duration of the reality star's failed marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries.

And while neither party has ever verbally confirmed nor denied their relationship to the press, their constant mugging, body language and ice cream dates have already ascertained what many merely speculated back in April.

The pair first sparked rumors when West, 35, dropped his track "Way Too Cold" in early April, on which he confessed that he "fell in love with Kim" the same time "she fell in love with (Humphries)."

But they kept up their are-they-aren't-they charade up even as they stepped out together at the opening of Scott Disick's new restaurant RYU in New York City April 23, and then on an ice cream date in SoHo the next day.

During an appearance on the "Today" show shortly after West's single dropped, the 31-year-old reality star played coy when host Ann Curry asked her if she and West were an item.

"I completely respect and understand that you have to ask these questions, but I've said before, Kanye and I have been friends for years," she said. "You know, you never know what the future holds or where my life will take me."

But a source told the Daily News at the time that "Kim likes Kanye. She's happy to have met someone who's like her and understands her crazy life."

In the weeks following, the pair continued to show their affection for one another in subtle ways, like Kardashian's "KW" earrings or the couple's matching sneakers.

For his 35th birthday, Kardashian bought West a $750,000 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, filming the lux toy so West, who was out doing a show in Ireland for his big day, could see his gift.

And just this week, the couple made a splash at Paris fashion week, grinning for cameras and walking the red carpet together.
